The Pad 3 is set to be Oppo's newest Android tablet. It’s a more basic version compared to its Pro counterpart, which has overshadowed it in the series lineup. Still, Oppo proudly states that it has received over 98,000 reservations for the tablet in China so far.
Attractive Color Options
Oppo also indicates that the Pad 3 will have appealing color choices. These include Sunshine Purple, Star Track Bright Silver Song, and a Night Blue that resembles the new OnePlus 13 flagship smartphone's color scheme.
Similar Design to Pro Version
The design of the Pad 3 closely mirrors that of the Pad 3 Pro (which is sold on Amazon as the OnePlus Pad 2). This similarity has led to speculation that the Pad 3 might just be a Dimensity 8350-powered variant of the same tablet.
Impressive Display Features
On a related note, Oppo has confirmed that the Pad 3 will feature the same 144Hz 7:5 2.8K ReadFit display. However, it will have a different brightness rating of 700 nits for HBM, compared to the 900 nits offered in the Pro version.
Reservation and Launch Details
The standard model is available for reservation with options of 8 to 12GB of RAM and internal storage choices ranging from 128GB to 512GB. This is happening in China before its official launch, which is expected to coincide with the unveiling of the Reno13 series of Android smartphones, likely on November 25, 2024.
