The Onyx Boox Palma, which we previously reviewed on Notebookcheck, is set to have a new version. However, this successor misses a key feature that was present in the original Onyx Boox Palma. The new Onyx Boox P6 does not include the 16 MP camera that its forerunner had. Whether this is a drawback really depends on how you plan to use the device. Aside from this change, the display remains unchanged; it still features a 6.13-inch E Ink Carta 1200 display with a resolution of 824 x 1,648, but it does not support color. A front light is included, which can be adjusted not only for brightness but also for color temperature.
