OnePlus has rolled out the V20P01 update for December, which brings numerous enhancements and new features to many of its smartphones and tablets. This update began its gradual rollout on December 2nd, 2024, and is expected to reach all compatible devices by January 2nd, 2025.
Improvements and New Features
The V20P01 update focuses on enhancing functionality, design, and overall performance. It adds a range of new features, refines the tools already in place, and boosts system stability, ensuring that users experience a smoother, more enjoyable interface.
Key Changes
Some significant updates include revamped Weather and Clock widgets, which improve their layout and usability on the Home screen. The updated Clock widgets now offer more personalization options for users.
In the Photos app, there's now a filtered view that helps users organize their photos, videos, and favorite content more effectively. A new slider feature lets users see the dates of photos while browsing, simplifying navigation. Users can even lock entire photo albums for added privacy and convenience. The ProXDR feature ensures that high-dynamic-range photos maintain their quality even after being edited with watermarks. Moreover, the update introduces a new boarding pass recognition feature, allowing users to scan and directly save passes to Google Wallet. For further details, check the complete changelog below:
