Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station had earlier mentioned that the launch of the OnePlus Pad 2 was delayed. However, according to a new leak from another tipster on the same Chinese social media platform, the OnePlus Pad 2 might be unveiled as early as this month.
Storage and Color Options
The tipster indicates that the OnePlus Pad 2 will be available in four different storage and memory configurations: 8GB+128G, 8GB+256G, 12GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB. The tablet is expected to weigh around 585g and will come in two colors, Space Grey and Khaki Green.
Certification and Performance
The device has passed the 3C certification and has been spotted on Geekbench with single and multi-core scores of 2103 and 6297, respectively. The Geekbench listing suggests the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which could be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The 3C certification also indicates that the tablet will support 67W fast charging.
Display and Features
Rumors suggest that the OnePlus Pad 2 will feature a 12.1″ LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a resolution of 3000 x 2120, resulting in a pixel density of 304 PPI. The display is expected to reach a peak brightness of 900 nits and support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
Camera and Battery
The tablet will reportedly have two cameras: a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera for video calls and face unlocking. It will also house a 9510mAh battery.
Additional Features
The OnePlus Pad 2 is anticipated to support the next-generation OnePlus Stylo pen and might feature a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, an upgrade from the USB Type-C 2.0 port found in its predecessor.
