OnePlus 13: 2K LTPO Display, Massive Battery Expected

OnePlus is currently developing the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, a flagship phone aimed at the Chinese market. This device is expected to be an affordable flagship, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It may be launched either later this month or in July and will compete with other models like the Redmi K70 Ultra, iQOO Neo 9S Pro+, and Realme GT 6 (China variant). A few months after the release of the Ace 3 Pro, OnePlus plans to unveil the OnePlus 13, their next-generation flagship phone in China. Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key details about this upcoming device.

OnePlus 13 Key Specifications (Rumored)

According to DCS, the OnePlus 13 will boast a high-spec 2K 8T LTPO custom display, which is considered a top-tier domestic screen. Earlier information from the same source on Weibo indicated that the OP13 might come with a 6.8-inch OLED screen. The design will feature a nearly flat display with a subtly curved glass cover, providing a large size and an improved visual experience compared to this year’s model.

Camera and Battery Enhancements

The camera system on the OnePlus 13 will receive a modest upgrade, featuring a 50-megapixel periscope triple camera setup. Another significant enhancement for the OnePlus 13 is the inclusion of an ultra-large battery, promising improved performance and longevity.

For reference, the OnePlus 12 was equipped with a 5,400mAh battery, and rumors suggest that the upcoming Ace 3 Pro will have a 6,100mAh battery. Consequently, the OP13 is likely to feature a 6,000mAh battery. However, a recent leak suggested that it might not support wireless charging.

Expected Chipset and Release Date

The OnePlus 13 will undoubtedly feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which is expected to debut in October of this year. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are likely to be the first phones in the world to feature the SD8G4. It seems that the OP13 will also be released in the same month, making it one of the first devices to incorporate the new chipset.
