Nubia Z60S Pro Design and Specs Leaked Ahead of July 23 Launch

Tomorrow (July 23), Nubia will unveil its new flagship phones, the Nubia Z60S Pro and Nubia Z60 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition, in China. The company has already confirmed the design and chipset details for the Ultra model. Today, a new poster has been released to showcase the design of the Pro model.

Nubia Z60S Pro

The Nubia Z60 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition will retain the design of the original Z60 Ultra, which was launched in December last year. The poster for the Nubia Z60S Pro suggests that its design will align closely with that of its predecessor, the Nubia Z50S Pro, which was released in July 2023.

The back panel of the Z60S Pro features a larger camera module housing a triple camera setup. The LED flash unit is positioned outside the camera island at the top-left corner. The right edge of the phone includes an alert slider, a volume rocker, and a red-colored power button. The device is expected to come in black, silver, and turquoise colors.

Nubia Z60S Pro specifications

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Nubia Z60S Pro will sport a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and will feature a 5,100mAh battery with 80W rapid charging capability. The phone will also support two-way satellite connectivity. Design-wise, it will have a metal middle frame and a glass back.

The rear camera system of the Z60S Pro will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera with OIS, a 35mm focal length, and an f/1.9 aperture. Another leaker suggests that the Z60S Pro will retain the same ultrawide and telephoto cameras found in the Z50S Pro. Therefore, the Z60S Pro is likely to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D40 ultrawide lens with a 125-degree FoV, a 13mm focal length, and autofocus support, as well as an 8-megapixel Hynix HI847 telephoto camera with OIS and an 80mm focal length.
