NIU N Play 72V Electric Motorcycle Released in China at 4,047 Yuan

The new electric motorcycle under the Chinese brand NIU N Play is now starting its sales in China. This new electric bike is currently doing introductory special launch pricing for its Chinese customers. This motorcycle comes with a matte white color version and matte gray and matte black versions.

Specifications and Features

The N Play motorcycle is powered by a 1,200 W electric motor, with power reaching its peak at 2,000 W and a torque of 112 Nm. With this, the top speed that is reached on the 72V 23Ah lead-acid battery is 52 km/h. The nominal range that this bike can go is 65 km. Further, it has a 58 cm seating height, and the seat bucket capacity is 20 liters. The frame is a double-arm fence type; it rides on 90/90-12 wide sports tires. Dual disc brakes, both in front and rear, provide proper stopping power.

Advanced Lighting and Intelligent Features

The NIU N Play comes with a headlight system that is entirely made using LED, surrounding up to a 360-degree lighting system for safety purposes. Integrated into the headlamp cluster are the indicators and pilot lamps, while the taillights are high-mounted, allowing for better visibility. Adding to the mix are cruise control, push-assist, and reversing assist. Other intelligent features include a Bluetooth sensing key, side stand sensing function, electronic faucet lock, remote power on/off, and remote seat bucket opening.

Price & Availability

The NIU Play electric scooter currently sells for 4,399 yuan ($607) at regular price. In a discounted sale, it is available for 4,047 yuan, or $559, on platforms such as JD.com. NIU has not revealed for how long this discount is going to continue—no mention in any of the global market information and pricing details.
