Xiaomi's ecological chain partner, Segway Ninebot, has launched the C2 Lite electric scooter designed specifically for children. This new addition to the Ninebot lineup is user-friendly for kids within the specified age range.

Features

The C2 Lite is a lightweight model, tipping the scales at 7.8kg and measuring 856 x 400 x 950 mm. It features a display with IPX4 water resistance. The e-scooter boasts a maximum range of 14km and can support weights up to 50kg. It's ideal for children aged 6 to 10 years, with a recommended height of 115 – 145 cm. The scooter is powered by a 120W motor, enabling a top speed of 16km/h.

When ridden at its maximum speed, the Ninebot C2 Lite can cover approximately 9km on a full battery. It includes a mechanical brake and features 7-inch Inner Hollow Tires that are marketed as maintenance-free. Additional features include RGB breathing lights, an LED screen, and three riding modes: Standard, Sport, and Power-assisting. The scooter's battery can be fully charged in approximately 1.17 hours (70 minutes).

Pricing & Availability

The C2 Lite comes in multiple color options, such as blue and gold with black accents. It is currently available for purchase on various retail platforms in China, including JD.com, starting at 899 yuan ($124). Like previous models, the Ninebot C2 Lite is expected to be released in other markets in the future.
