Hisense has unveiled a new addition to its premium mini-LED TV range with a remarkable maximum brightness of 5,000 nits. Earlier this year at CES 2024, Hisense showcased four mini-LED TVs, including the 110UX and its 98-inch variant. Alongside the well-received U8N model, the new U9N series will offer 75-inch and 85-inch screen options.
New Features and Specifications
Positioned between the ULED X and U8N series, the Hisense U9N series maintains many top-tier features while being more budget-friendly. Key features include Hi-View Engine X picture processing and a mini-LED backlight with up to 5,300 local dimming zones. The U9N series boasts a brightness level of 5,000 nits, matching the 98-inch ULED X TV unveiled at CES 2024. Equipped with a quantum dot LCD panel, these TVs support Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, IMAX Enhanced, and HDR10+ high dynamic range formats. Additionally, they include the Filmmaker Mode picture preset and an anti-glare screen.
Enhanced Viewing Experience
The Hisense U9N mini-LED TV offers an ultra-wide viewing angle feature to enhance the viewing experience for individuals positioned off-center. Audio-wise, the U9N series comes with a 4.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio system delivering 82W of power. These TVs run on the Google TV smart platform, feature WiFi 6E connectivity, and include an ATSC 3.0 tuner for digital TV channel reception.
Gaming Capabilities and More
With a native refresh rate of 144Hz, the Hisense U9N is designed to excel as a gaming TV. It offers features like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Dolby Vision gaming, a customizable Game Bar, and Auto Game Mode for an optimized gaming experience.
Pricing and Release
The Hisense U9N mini-LED TV is priced at $2,999 for the 75-inch model and $3,999 for the 85-inch variant. Consumers can expect these TVs to hit the market in the summer, as per the company's announcement.
