Exciting New Leaks for Witcher Fans
Followers of a popular CD Projekt Red RPG have plenty to look forward to. A remake of the original The Witcher, The Witcher 3 expansion Songs of the Past, and eventually The Witcher 4 will debut. However, there are also projects in development for multiplayer fans and mobile gamers. The latest leak describes a free-to-play co-op option that may exclude consoles.
Customizable Characters and Contract Hunting
MP1st reports that a mysterious action-oriented title is in the works. Gameplay would consist of accepting contracts before hunting creatures in locations familiar to the series. Instead of controlling Geralt or Ciri, players can customize their own characters. While players celebrate The Witcher games for their narrative-driven single-player nature, combat isn’t always a strong point.
Free-to-Play Focus on Combat and Skills
Nevertheless, the rumored free-to-play multiplayer game prioritizes battles. As gamers progress, they will be able to assign skills and create unique builds. Like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and previous entries, mastering signs and formulating potions would help to survive impending danger. Otherwise, MP1st can’t provide many other details or a release date for the project, which looks headed to PC and smartphones at launch.
Separate from Project Sirius
The website clarified that the new multiplayer The Witcher game is separate from Project Sirius. CD Projekt Red announced the spin-off in 2022, then rebooted development in 2023. The Molasses Flood studio eventually merged with the publisher in 2025. One distinction is that Sirius may also include a solo mode and is more likely to ship for consoles. The RPG franchise has seen free-to-play mobile games before.
History of Mobile Witcher Titles
Battle Arena surfaced in 2015 on Android and iOS as a MOBA experience. The 2021 Monster Slayer offered its take on Pokémon GO before meeting its demise in 2023. A pair of GWENT titles appeared in 2020 and 2022, catering to fans of card collecting and roguelike deckbuilders. MP1st suspects that mobile game publisher Scopely could be in charge of the latest leaked endeavor.
CD Projekt Red’s Partnership with Scopely
CD Projekt Red teamed up with the company for a game based on The Witcher or Cyberpunk. In May, CDPR confirmed that a 2026 release is not realistic for the title. MP1st, MP1st X account
