Multifunctional Compact Design
The Vezerlezer WK2 is designed to be more then just a simple flashlight, as this gadget packs five functions into a relatively compact body measuring 11.8 x 1.98 x 3.4 centimeters. Probably the most useful function is the standard flashlight, which is said to reach a brightness of 1300 lumens. Vezerlezer advertises a battery life of 3.2 hours at high brightness, or up to 105 hours at a very low brightness of 10 lumens.
Specialized Lighting and Utility Features
On the side of the body is a large floodlight that can shine either white or red. With a brightness adjustable from 1 to 200 lumens and a color temperature of 4500 Kelvin, this light is said to be suitable for reading in a tent, for example. A green laser pointer is also hidden on the front, offering a standard output of 1 mW. Finally the Vezerlezer WK2 features a 365 nm UV lamp. The housing is IPX5-certified and thus protected against rain. The back is magnetic and a pocket clip is also available for attachment.
Kickstarter Pricing and Availability
The Vezerlezer WK2 is currently being funded on Kickstarter. As part of the “Early Bird” offer, the flashlight can be pre-ordered for HKD 163 (approx. $21); the retail price is expected to be about twice as high. Delivery is expected to begin in August 2026. The price does not include import sales tax, customs duties, and $9 for shipping to the US, or $8 for shipping to the EU.
Important Considerations for Backers
As is usually the case, supporting Kickstarter campaigns carries the risk that products may be delivered late or with quality defects. Vezerlezer already has several flashlights in its lineup, but the WK2 is the company’s first Kickstarter project.
