Casio is set to introduce two new G-Shock Baby-G BG-169 Cherry on Top watches in the UK. The pink BG-169CH-4ER and the yellow BG-169CH-9ER have both been listed on the G-Shock UK “Coming Soon” page.
Features and Design
These two BG-169 models feature multiple references to cherries, including cherry-inspired colors and a red cherry design that appears on the digital screen when the LED backlight is activated. They can show the time in either 12 or 24-hour formats, along with the current date and day of the week. Additional functionalities include five daily alarms, a countdown timer that goes up to 24 hours, and a stopwatch that measures in 1/100th seconds. Additionally, the Telememo function allows users to save up to 25 phone numbers with corresponding contact names. These watches are water-resistant up to 200 meters and can last about three years on a single battery.
Launch Details
It’s still not clear when the Casio G-Shock Baby-G BG-169CH-4ER and BG-169CH-9ER will officially be available in the UK, where the price is expected to be £69. These models have already been made available for pre-order in Japan, where they are known as the BG-169CH-4JF and BG-169CH-9JF, priced at ¥12,650 (around $83). There has been no announcement yet regarding their potential release in other European nations or if they will be available in North America.
