A recent leak has revealed a new Anker Nano 5-in-1 20W Travel Adapter. The details and an image of this upcoming gadget were posted on Reddit by the tipster u/joshuadwx. It appears that this product, which carries the model number A9215, is tailored for users across different countries.
Adapter Features
On one side of the Travel Adapter, there are inputs designed for Type A (for North America) and Type C (used in Europe, South America, and Asia) plugs. The other side features retractable and foldable pins compatible with Type A, Type C, Type G (for the UK and Singapore), and Type I (for Australia and China) outlets. Users can control the retractable pins via sliders located on the side of the device; one slider is marked US/AU, while the other is marked UK. From what was shared in the Reddit post, it seems that the maximum input power is 750W for the US and 1,380W for the UK and EU. Additionally, the portable adapter includes two USB-C ports that provide up to 20W and 15W of power, along with two 12W USB-C outputs. When multiple outputs are being used, the 12W power is split among them.
Pricing and Availability
Details regarding the size and exact pricing are still pending. U/joshuadwx has hinted that the Anker 5-in-1 20W Travel Adapter could hit shelves in the US within the next year, with a suggested retail price of $22.99. Anker already has similar products available that feature AC and USB outputs, like their basic USA to UK International Plug Adapter, which is currently priced at $9.59 on Amazon. Moreover, there are whispers that Anker is also working on a 4-in-1 Travel Adapter that could offer a higher maximum output of 65W.
