MSI, a well-known name in gaming solutions and laptops, marked the 20th anniversary of its laptops with a major event at Infinity Mall in Malad, Mumbai on June 21 and June 22. The celebration included an exhibition that showcased some of the brand’s most innovative products, attracting over 2,000 attendees who had the chance to experience MSI’s latest advancements firsthand.
MSI Showcases its Product Portfolio in India
India continues to be MSI’s top-performing market in Asia, leading the company to announce plans for further expansion. Currently, MSI operates in three main categories in India: Gaming, Creators, and B&P series. Among these, gaming products lead in sales. The brand aims to double its growth by the end of 2024.
MSI has 30 laptop experience centres in key cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Pune. The company plans to increase this number to 50 by the year’s end. Additionally, due to the rising popularity of high-end laptops featuring the RTX 4070 and above, MSI intends to expand its range from 200 to 300 SKUs by the end of 2025.
MSI Celebrates 20th Anniversary in India
MSI Claw, the company’s first handheld gaming PC, will soon be available for purchase in India. It is expected to go on sale this month (June) in the country. To recall, it was announced in March in the country.
As part of the 20th anniversary celebration, MSI announced a strategic partnership with Croma, one of India’s leading electronics retailers, to expand its retail presence. This collaboration will be rolled out across 35 key Croma stores in regions including Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Hyderabad.
Expanding Retail and Online Presence
Besides its experience centres, MSI products are available on Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, and Reliance Digital. The brand currently has a presence in metro and tier I cities and aims to expand further into tier II cities. MSI plans to enhance its experience centres to provide a more immersive and interactive customer experience.
