A recent leak has shed light on Nothing’s plans for 2025, confirming the launch of a much-anticipated device along with its expected timeline.
Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared the memo on X, which was sent to all Nothing employees by CEO Carl Pei. The memo discusses the company’s impressive growth since its inception. Notably, it reaffirms the upcoming launch of the Nothing Phone (3), capturing a lot of excitement.
Exciting Features Ahead
The memo indicates that the Nothing Phone (3) will be a flagship model, distinguishing it from the Nothing Phone (2a)—currently available on Amazon for $349.99—and the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus that will be launched in 2024. This new device is anticipated to feature groundbreaking advancements in user interface design. Additionally, there will be a significant emphasis on AI and how it can enhance everyday tasks for users.
While no specific features were disclosed, the Nothing Phone (3) is reportedly slated for release this quarter, with the memo hinting at a major smartphone launch in Q1 that is sure to generate global excitement.
Workforce Expansion
The memo also highlights that Nothing’s team has grown, particularly in the software and camera departments, which have expanded nearly by 50%. This enlargement is expected to lead to improved products and greater innovation in the future.
In addition to the Nothing Phone (3), the company is anticipated to unveil the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Plus. Both models are said to be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors rather than the MediaTek Dimensity chips used in previous versions. Furthermore, Nothing is likely to introduce new accessories like earbuds and smartwatches under both the Nothing and CMF brands.
