Lava has officially announced the upcoming launch of its new smartphone, the Lava O2, in India on March 22nd at 12 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). The company shared the news on its social media platforms, unveiling that the phone will be powered by the efficient Unisoc T616 chipset. According to Lava, this chipset has surpassed 280k+ points on AnTuTu benchmarks, positioning the O2 as the "fastest phone in the segment."
Lava O2: Specifications and Colors
The Lava O2 will be up for sale on Amazon, with a dedicated microsite already live on the platform, revealing essential details about the device. The smartphone will be offered in Majestic Purple and Green color options. Alongside the UniSoC T616 SoC, it will boast 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The device will come pre-loaded with Android 13.

Featuring a 6.5-inch screen with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, the Lava O2 sports an 8MP camera on the hole-punch cutout on the front and a 50MP AI dual camera setup on the back.
