Both models can work with an AutoEmpty Dock, available for an extra $150. For the mid-tier 205 series, iRobot is adding an onboard dust compactor, allowing the robovacuums to hold more dirt before needing to be emptied. The high-end 405 and 505 Combo Robots come with a multi-purpose dock and dual-spinning mop pads, which is a first for the Roomba range. Notably, the Matter-compatible Roomba Plus 505 Combo Robot is priced at $999 with the auto-wash dock, which is significantly lower than the previous flagship Combo 10 Max, which was over $500 more.
