iQOO has officially announced the launch date for the Z9s series in India, as shared by the Vivo sub-brand’s India CEO. This new lineup will include two new models, adding to the existing Z9, Z9x, and Z9 Lite 5G models. The new devices will be available on Amazon. iQOO Z9s Series India Launch Date Confirmed
The iQOO Z9s series is scheduled to launch in India on August 21. According to a teaser poster shared by the executive, the phone will feature a curved display, which is likely the iQOO Z9s Pro. It is promoted as the fastest curved-screen phone in its segment. A small text at the bottom left corner of the teaser indicates an AnTuTu score of 8.2 laks for under Rs 25,000 at launch. This implies that the new model could be priced below Rs 25,000 after all launch offers. Another teaser had previously revealed that the iQOO Z9s series will have a squircle camera island similar to the iQOO 12.
Specifications and Rumors
Other details about the iQOO Z9s series remain undisclosed. However, an unknown iQOO phone recently appeared on the Geekbench database, speculated to be the Z9s Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with 12GB of RAM onboard.
Rumors indicate that the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro will feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a 50MP rear camera. Additionally, the Z9s is expected to come with a Dimensity 7300 SoC.
