In April, iQOO introduced the iQOO Z9 series of smartphones in China. The series features three models: the iQOO Z9x with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, the iQOO Z9 powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and the iQOO Z9 Turbo equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the company is developing a fourth model in the Z9 series, called the iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus. In a new Weibo post, the tipster shared additional details about this forthcoming device.
iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Key Details Emerge
According to the leaks, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ model, identified by the V2417A model number, has not yet received approval from Chinese certification authorities. The tipster also mentioned that the phone’s warranty is expected to expire in September or October of this year.
The leaks further indicate that the Z9 Turbo+ will feature a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. A dedicated graphics management chip will enhance the display, likely improving the gaming experience on the device.
Performance and Battery
While specific details about the battery size were not disclosed, it was mentioned that the device would come with a large silicon battery. The Z9 Turbo+ will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, the same one found in the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra, as well as the Vivo X100s and iQOO Neo 9S Pro.
Further specifics about the Z9 Turbo+ remain unknown. However, it is anticipated to be a budget-friendly, performance-centric smartphone.
