iQOO is stepping into the AI smartwatch arena with the forthcoming Watch GT, slated for release on July 11th. While the company had previously hinted at some of its features, they have now disclosed more crucial details about this eagerly awaited device.
The smartwatch sports a square face and includes several AI-driven functions. One standout feature is real-time voice transcription for note-taking, enabling users to jot down ideas swiftly. This is complemented by AI-assisted creativity, though the details of this feature are still vague. Additionally, iQOO is promoting AI-customizable watch faces, allowing users to personalize their smartwatch with unique designs, including anime-inspired ones.
AI Smart Window
The Watch GT incorporates an AI smart window that provides contextual notifications. By comprehending your current activity and surroundings, the smartwatch can smartly display pertinent information when you raise your wrist.
Independent Navigation and Cloud Messaging
Beyond its AI capabilities, the Watch GT is reported to have independent navigation powered by Baidu, a first for its pricing tier. This is enhanced by eSIM cloud messaging, which enables users to receive calls, texts, notifications, and access navigation services even without a connected smartphone.
The iQOO Watch GT will be available with colorful straps, allowing you to switch between various watch faces to suit your style. It also promises a long battery life of 21 days and supports NFC for straightforward transactions.
Additional Product Launches
The launch event for the Watch GT will also feature the introduction of other iQOO products. These include the iQOO Neo9S Pro+ smartphone, the iQOO Pad2 Pro 1TB tablet, and the iQOO TWS 1i earphones.
