iQoo has unveiled its newest premium smartphone, the iQoo 13, in China. The standout feature of this device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which delivers a significant performance upgrade over earlier models. Along with this, the phone is packed with features aimed at gamers.
Design Improvements
At first look, the iQoo 13 appears quite like its earlier version. Nevertheless, the firm has made some enhancements. A fresh design aspect called “Monster Halo” has been added, which is a customizable lighting effect system that encircles the camera module. This lighting can adjust to various gaming situations and offers a total of 72 effects, allowing users to customize the appearance of their phone.
Color Options and Dimensions
The smartphone is available in four unique color options: Legend Edition (white), Track Edition (black), Isle of Man (green), and Nardo Gray. The Track Edition measures 7.9mm in thickness and has a weight of 207g, while the other colorways are slightly thicker at 8.13mm and heavier at 213g. The iQoo 13 boasts an impressive IP69+IP68 rating for protection against water and dust.
Display Features
The iQoo 13 is equipped with a 6.82-inch LTPO display sourced from BOE, featuring a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and achieving a peak brightness of 1800nits. The display also offers a high refresh rate of 144Hz. Moreover, it supports 1.07 billion colors, the P3 color gamut, and HDR content for vibrant visuals.
Camera Capabilities
This smartphone comes with a triple rear camera array, highlighted by a primary 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS, along with a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens. For selfies and video calls, it has a 32MP front-facing sensor.
Performance and Gaming Features
The primary selling point of the iQoo 13 is undoubtedly its chipset. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which brings significant enhancements compared to its predecessor, making it a great choice for mobile gamers and power users. According to iQoo, the device scores over 3.15 million in AnTuTu benchmarks.
Enhanced Gaming Experience
Additionally, the phone is equipped with iQoo's Q2 gaming chip to elevate the gaming experience. This chip boasts “VAA Anti-Flicker" technology, which minimizes flickering for smoother gameplay. The company also mentions that it can handle 2K PC-grade resolution scaling. The iQoo 13 supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and offers 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. To maintain optimal temperatures during heavy usage, it features a 7K dual-drive heat sink for heat dissipation.
Battery and Charging
The iQoo 13 is powered by a robust 6,150mAh battery and supports 120W wired fast charging. The company asserts that the device can reach a full charge in just 30 minutes with the 120W charger, although it does not support wireless charging.
Security and Software
For security, the smartphone includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. On the software side, the iQoo 13 operates on OriginOS 15, which is based on Android 15. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity.

The iQoo 13 is currently available for purchase in China, but the date for its global release has not been confirmed yet.
