iQOO has recently announced its new flagship smartphone globally. The iQOO 13, which was first revealed in China last October, is now making its way to international markets. It made its global debut in Indonesia, so let’s take a closer look.
iQOO 13: Unique Features
The iQOO 13 boasts some of the latest technology from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. It features a large 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a stunning 2K+ resolution, peak brightness of 4500 nits, and utilizes a 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at full brightness. Powering the device is Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, along with options for up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Design and Battery Life
This device is backed by an impressive 6,150mAh battery, which supports 120W wired fast charging. In terms of photography, the iQOO 13 has a triple-camera system on the back that includes a 50MP main, a 50MP ultra-wide angle, and a 50MP telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, there's a 32MP camera situated on the front. Additional features include the Android 15 operating system with Funtouch OS 15, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, dual SIM capability, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7, and an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Pricing Information
The iQOO 13 was launched in Indonesia and is currently up for pre-orders through the brand’s official website, as well as platforms like Shopee, Blibli, and Tokopedia. The smartphone comes in two color choices: Alpha Black and Legend White, with the latter representing the BMW Motorsport edition. The starting price is 9,999,000 IDR (approximately 630 US Dollars) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 512GB variant retails for 11,999,000 IDR (about 756 US Dollars). The iQOO 13 is also set to launch in India on December 3, featuring a slightly smaller 6,000mAh battery.
