A fresh leak from tipster Smart Pikachu has provided more details about its launch schedule, design, and major features.
iQOO 13 Launch Timeframe
For context, iQOO launched the iQOO 12 on November 7, 2024, in China. The tipster suggests that the iQOO 13 is tentatively set to debut by early November. The device will feature a dual-chip setup, likely including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and a dedicated graphics chip, to enhance the gaming experience.
While iQOO’s flagship phones are renowned for their performance, the company added a periscope telephoto camera to the iQOO 12, making it impressive even in the photography department. The leaker confirmed that the iQOO 13 will not suffer any downgrades in the camera department, contrary to previous beliefs.
Camera Features
Earlier reports indicated that the iQOO 13 would include a periscope telephoto camera. The leaker reiterated this and added that the iQOO 13 will support macro photography and 100x hybrid zoom. Additionally, the machine translation reveals that the iQOO 13 will feature high-quality cameras without any "makeshift lenses."
iQOO 13 Design
Regarding design, the iQOO 13 will have a rectangular camera module positioned at the upper-left corner on the back. Other reports suggest that it will feature a flat display on the front, indicating no significant design changes from the previous generation.
