The Decathlon Rockrider E-EXPL 700 has been given a stylish makeover with a new purple color option. This hardtail e-bike is an updated version of the original Rockrider E-EXPL 700, which was released earlier this year in select European markets.
Upgraded Features
The new Rockrider E-EXPL 700 retains many of the features that made the original model popular. It is equipped with a Shimano drivetrain, including a Deore 5130 rear derailleur, a Deore LG 11-43 cassette, and an LG500 chain. The drivetrain in the new variant differs from the original model's Microshift Advent X drivetrain, but both offer the same capabilities.
The e-bike is powered by a Brose Drive T mid-mounted motor, which provides a maximum torque of 70Nm and a top assistance speed of 25km/h. The motor offers maximum assistance of 320% and incorporates a torque sensor for smoother pedaling. The bike is equipped with a 630Wh battery that provides up to 100km of range on a single charge. Additionally, it is compatible with a 360Wh range extender that can add an extra 44km of range.
Impressive Specifications
The Rockrider E-EXPL 700 features a 6061 aluminum frame and is available in four sizes ranging from S to XL. It is equipped with an X-Fusion RC32 29-inch fork, which offers up to 130mm of travel. The e-bike also boasts Tektro M530 hydraulic disc brakes and a long-distance 60-degree saddle for enhanced comfort. Riders can easily monitor their ride statistics and battery status on the bike's Ergo 900 TFT color display located on the handlebars.
