Just a little over a month ago, Insta360 unveiled the Ace Pro 2 action camera, aiming to compete with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and the GoPro Hero 13 Black, which currently costs $339.99 on Amazon. In addition to this, it seems that the company has also wrapped up work on a new camera gimbal.
New Gimbal Launch
To provide some background, the Flow Pro was introduced by Insta360 back in July. However, it appears that the upcoming Flow 2 will replace it soon, and it might come with a higher price tag than the Flow Pro. Official announcements from Insta360 haven’t been made yet. Interestingly, Argos UK was spotted by Igor Bogdanov (@Quadro_News) listing the Flow 2 ahead of its launch.
Listing Removed
Predictably, Argos UK has since taken down the listing from its website. Still, a cached version can be found through Bing. According to this retailer, the Flow 2 is equipped with 3-axis gimbal stabilization and boasts a 2,900 mAh battery that can provide up to 12 hours of use.
Multi-functional Design
Additionally, the device is designed to work as a selfie stick, tripod, and powerbank all in one. Despite its capabilities, the Insta360 Flow 2 folds compactly, measuring just 269 x 76 x 69 mm when fully opened. Moreover, Argos UK has mentioned that the Flow 2 weighs 366 g, is compatible with both Android and iOS devices, and will be priced at £144.99 upon its official release. It also highlights some software features of the gimbal:
Cutting-edge, AI-driven tracking technology. This allows subjects to remain in focus and within frame with exceptional accuracy and adaptability. Features include person re-identification, zoom tracking, slow-motion tracking, and more.
