Huawei's forthcoming P70 series smartphones are gradually coming into focus, with recent leaks indicating a potential launch in April. Recent revelations from the Geekbench benchmarking platform have unveiled crucial details about smartphones within the P70 lineup.
Huawei P70 Series Leak on Geekbench
Three Huawei smartphones, identified by model numbers AL10, AL80, and AL00, have made an appearance on Geekbench.
The standard Huawei P70, marked as AL10, secured 1243 points in single-core tests and 3840 points in multi-core tests. On the other hand, the potential P70 Pro, AL80, achieved 1348 and 4114 points in the respective categories.
Notable Performance Differences
Interestingly, the MNA-AL00 model displayed a significantly higher performance, scoring 1784 points in single-core and 4589 points in multi-core tests. This variant is speculated to be the top-tier Huawei P70 Art.
Hardware Insights
The AL10 and AL80 models seem to house the same Kirin 9000s chipset found in the Mate 60 Pro, featuring a 12-core setup with varying clock speeds for high-performance, performance, and efficiency cores.
However, the AL00 model, potentially the P70 Art, is rumored to introduce a new Kirin chipset with a distinct CPU configuration. This chipset comprises four cores at 2.02GHz, three cores at 2.75GHz, and a single core clocked at 3.19GHz. Additionally, the listing on Geekbench reveals a substantial 12GB of RAM for this model.
Certification Details
These three smartphones have also surfaced on China's Radio certification platform with model numbers ADY-AL10 (P70), HBN-AL80 (P70 Pro), and HBP-AL00 (P70 Art).
Satellite Features
According to tipster Digital Chat Staiton, the base P70 will support BeiDou satellite messaging, while the P70 Pro and P70 Art are anticipated to support both BeiDou messaging and satellite calls via Tiantong 1.
