Huawei Nova Flip Sells Over 45,000 Units in 72 Hours Since Launch

Huawei recently introduced its Nova Flip, a vertically folding smartphone available in four colors: Green, Pink, White, and Black. The Huawei Nova Flip is priced as follows: 12GB+256GB at 5,288 Yuan (~ $740), 12GB+512GB at 5,688 Yuan ($795), and 12GB+1TB at 6,488 Yuan ($910).

Impressive Sales Figures

45,000 units sold in 72 hours of launch
Huawei announced that Nova Flip sales surpassed 45,000 units within 72 hours post-launch. This marks an 85% increase in sales compared to the same period last year for the company’s flip phones.

Technical Specifications

The Huawei Nova Flip is equipped with the Kirin 8000 chipset and runs HarmonyOS 4.2. The international version offers storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, paired with 12GB RAM. It houses a 4,400 mAh silicon anode battery and supports 66W Huawei Super Fast Charge Turbo 2.0, which can fully charge the battery in just 40 minutes.

Display and Camera

The inner foldable screen is 6.94 inches with a resolution of 1136 x 2690 pixels. This LTPO OLED panel achieves a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The outer square display is 2.14 inches with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

In terms of cameras, the phone features a dual-lens setup on the back: a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor size behind an f/1.9 aperture, and an 8 MP ultrawide camera with a 112-degree field of view.

Dimensions and Weight

When folded, the phone measures 15.1mm in thickness, and 6.88mm (leather back) when unfolded, making it thinner than both the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The leather back variant weighs 195 grams.
