The Honor Magic7 series is rumored to feature an enhancement in its periscope zoom cameras, but it appears that these upgrades won't be available for the Pro model, as suggested by a recent leak related to the smartphone.
Camera Specifications
It seems the Pro version will retain the same telephoto lens as its predecessor, which is still a notable 180MP shooter that earned the Magic6 Pro high marks on DxOMark in early 2024. Additionally, the Magic7 Pro is expected to keep the same 50MP main camera from the previous model, although there is a chance it might include the OmniVision OV50H as an ultrawide-angle lens.
Design Changes
Honor might be ditching the previous generation's Quad Curved Floating Screen in favor of a design similar to that of the OnePlus 13 for the Magic7 Pro. On a related note, these two devices could potentially compete directly with each other, both featuring the same 100W wired charging speed, compared to the 80W found in the Magic6 Pro.
Charging and Battery
Recent leaks also indicate the inclusion of robust wireless charging capabilities in the 7 Pro, likely featuring the custom 66W technology similar to that of its predecessor. The Magic6 Pro was among the first premium smartphones of 2024 to utilize a cutting-edge silicon-carbon battery boasting a capacity of 5,600mAh, which may largely remain unchanged in the upcoming model.
Moreover, the Magic7 Pro is also suggested to upgrade to the newest Snapdragon 8-series silicon, which may be announced soon, according to the sources.
