Honor Magic 7 Series with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Autopilot AI

The Snapdragon 8 Elite has been officially announced, with the Honor Magic 7 series smartphones leading the way as some of the first to incorporate it. Honor has also revealed that their upcoming flagship devices will include innovative AI features, including the "first of its kind" on-device assistant known as Autopilot AI for mobile.

New AI Features Unveiled

The Autopilot AI for mobile is set to create an open ecosystem and will present new functionalities to improve the smartphone experience. According to Honor, this AI will adapt to users' habits and make smart choices. For example, if a user requests coffee, it will take into account previous orders to suggest something that better fits their taste.

Privacy as a Priority

Honor has made it clear that the Autopilot AI on the Magic 7 series will focus on user privacy. Since the processing takes place on the device itself, consumers can rest assured that their data won't be shared with third parties. This AI assistant will also help with various tasks, like canceling unwanted subscriptions in different applications.

Enhanced Gaming Experience

Furthermore, Honor has stated that the Magic 7 series phones will come with AI-boosted hardware. They will be equipped with an NPU designed to improve gaming experiences through on-device generative AI. According to Honor, this will allow for real-time AI rendering, which will lessen the load on the GPU, enhance image quality, and keep device temperatures lower while gaming.

In addition, the company has pointed out how its MagicRing can create a smooth multi-device AI experience. Honor is collaborating with Qualcomm on MagicRing, aiming to facilitate the flow of information among devices. All these features, along with others, will be available on the Magic 7 series, which will run on MagicOS 9.0.
