A new smartphone from the Honor Magic series is set to debut in India shortly. Following the recent introduction of the Honor 200, HTech is now preparing to launch the Magic 6 Pro. This high-end flagship device will be available later this week.
Honor Magic 6 Pro India Launch Date
The Magic 6 Pro was initially revealed in China earlier this year. It will officially launch in India on August 2, 2024. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will be available on Flipkart. It features a large 6.8-inch curved OLED LTPO display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The screen is protected by Giant Rhinoceros Glass and supports Dolby Vision.
Inside, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It houses a substantial 5,600mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging and 66W wireless fast charging. According to the Chinese announcement, the Magic 6 Pro can charge fully in just 39 minutes. The flagship phone will be available in various colors including Lake Blue, Cloud Purple, Qilian Snow, Barley Green, and Velvet Black.
Camera and Other Features
In terms of camera capabilities, the phone boasts a 50MP ultra-dynamic main camera with an intelligent variable aperture (f/1.4-f/2.0) for enhanced low-light performance and optical image stabilization (OIS). This is complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 180MP periscope telephoto shooter with OIS, offering 2.5x optical zoom and 100x hybrid zoom. Additional features include the world’s first Swiss SGS multi-scene gold label for 5-star drop resistance, variable refresh rate, 4320Hz PWM dimming for eye protection, and more.
