Honor has confirmed that the upcoming Honor 300 series will feature a flat-screen design, putting to rest any uncertainty regarding the phone's looks and style. This design choice is a departure from the curved screens that have gained popularity in recent years.
Announcement Details
Jiang Hairong, the CMO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., shared this news in response to questions from users in China. The Honor 300 series aims to be an affordable option, making it ideal for those who want small and budget-friendly smartphones without giving up on essential features.
Design and Features
The Honor 300 series will have an ultra-thin, small flat screen, which positions it among the thinnest phones available. This design is a nod to simplicity and practicality, likely attracting users who favor a classic and compact smartphone shape.
Performance Expectations
The Honor 300 series is set to deliver solid performance with various configurations to meet different user preferences. The base model, the Honor 300, will feature a Snapdragon 7 series processor, striking a balance between performance and efficiency for daily tasks. It will support fast wired charging at 100W.
Moving up, the Honor 300 Pro will be equipped with a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, providing flagship-level performance for gaming, multitasking, and resource-intensive applications. This version will come with a large 1.5K quad-curved screen for a more immersive viewing experience.
Camera Capabilities
Along with impressive wired charging speeds, the 300 Pro will also support wireless charging for added convenience. It is anticipated to sport a 50MP triple-camera setup on the back, featuring a 50MP vertical telephoto lens, along with a dual 50MP front camera to attract photography lovers.
The Honor 300 Pro+ will share the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and 1.5K display with the Pro model, also offering 100W wired and wireless charging. However, it will include a 50MP periscope camera for better zooming abilities, completing its high-end feature set.
Additional Features
All three models in the Honor 300 series are expected to have ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint sensors, a unique feature in this price range that provides faster and more dependable unlocking.
All models have already been listed in China's MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) database, signaling that their launch is just around the corner.
