It has come to light that HMD Global is gearing up to release a new tablet named the HMD Slate Tab 5G. The leaked images of this tablet indicate that its design is reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia smartphones. Now, another tablet from the same brand has been revealed, thanks to tipster @smashx_60 on X.
The new tablet is called the HMD Tab Lite. Its design includes rounded corners and uneven bezels. This device sports an 8.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 pixels and a maximum brightness of 560 nits.

The HMD Tab Lite is powered by a Unisoc T610 chipset and is equipped with 4 GB of RAM along with 64 GB of expandable storage. The tablet also features a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging. For photography, it includes an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Additionally, the device offers 4G cellular connectivity.
Comparison and Pricing
This tablet appears to be a successor to the Nokia T10, which has an 8-inch display, a Unisoc T606 processor, and a dual-camera setup with an 8 MP primary camera and a 2 MP front camera. The Nokia T10 also includes a 5,500 mAh battery, which is expected to be the same in the HMD Tab Lite.
The HMD Tab Lite is anticipated to be priced at 149 EUR, slightly less than the launch price of the Nokia T10 tablet, which was 160 EUR. The release date has not been disclosed yet. The tablet will be available in black, blue, and pink color options.
