The Edifier STAX SPIRIT S10 magnetic planar wireless earphones have been launched in China. The new audio gadget from Edifier features a Qualcomm QCC5181 chip and a 12mm diameter planar unit, utilizing EqualMass patented wiring technology. It boasts an eye-catching black design.

The STAX Spirit S10 showcases a flat diaphragm with a thickness of around 10 micrometers and includes an integrated flat speaker unit of 12mm diameter. According to Edifier, this design offers a broad sound range, efficient energy conversion, and quick response times. A standout feature of the STAX SPIRIT S10 is its second-generation Qualcomm QCC5181 chip platform, which brings enhancements in sound quality, call clarity, and noise reduction over its predecessor, the QC5151. The device supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity along with adaptive active noise reduction.

Advanced Audio Features

The STAX SPIRIT S10 carries the Hi-Res Gold Label certification and is compatible with high-definition codecs such as LDAC, LHDC 5.0, aptX Adaptive, and formats up to 96kHz @ 24bit. It includes three microphones for Qualcomm aptX Voice 3-microphone calls and features built-in echo cancellation and noise suppression (ECNS). The earphones work with the Edifier Connect mobile app, enabling users to switch EQ sound effects, locate the headphones, and customize the pinch function. The app also allows adjustments to the prompt tone volume, renaming of the headphones, and setting the shutdown time.

Gaming and Battery Life

The model includes a gaming mode with a latency of around 0.089 seconds and supports fast charging. The STAX SPIRIT S10 offers a battery life of 28 hours and can be quickly recharged. The product is available for purchase on various retail platforms in China, including JD.com, with a retail price of 1,999 yuan ($275).
