Edifier has just launched its new over-ear headphones named Evo Space in China. The headphones are priced at 509 yuan (around $70) and can be found on JD.com. This release comes after the debut of the premium Halo Space headphones. Let’s take a closer look at what these headphones have to offer.
Evo Space Headphones Features
The Evo Space headphones boast a sleek and lightweight design, tipping the scales at about 260 grams, which makes them comfy for prolonged wear without placing too much weight on the head. They are equipped with high-quality protein leather ear cushions that are both breathable and soft, making them perfect for long listening sessions. The ergonomic structure features an adjustable aluminum support arm and a foldable design for easy transport.
Sound Quality and Noise Cancellation
These headphones come with 40mm titanium-coated composite diaphragms that produce strong bass and clear highs, covering a frequency response range from 20Hz to 40kHz. They hold dual Hi-Res Gold Audio certifications including Hi-Res Wireless and LHDC5.0 support, which guarantees top-notch sound quality with up to 192kHz/24-bit lossless audio transmission. Moreover, they have -45dB deep noise cancellation with five adjustable modes, such as depth noise reduction and ambient sound mode, ensuring a customized listening experience. A DNN intelligent noise cancellation system is also included for clear phone calls.
Battery Life and Connectivity Options
The Evo Space headphones provide an impressive battery life of 93 hours without noise cancellation and 53 hours with it. They feature quick charging, allowing for 7.5 hours of playback with just 15 minutes of charging and a full charge in 2.5 hours. Additionally, they support Bluetooth v5.4 for quick and stable connections, and can pair with two devices simultaneously for easy switching. Users can also connect them via USB in wired mode, adding more flexibility.
With the Edifier Connect App or PC client, users can customize their audio experience, including scene switching, sound effect tweaks, noise cancellation mode adjustments, and firmware updates. The Evo Space comes with three audio presets—music, gaming, and spatial audio—and a low latency mode (0.08s) that enhances gaming performance. The intuitive touch control system allows for easy play/pause, volume adjustments, and toggling noise cancellation. These headphones are available in four chic colors: Pearl White, Misty Pink, Midnight Blue, and Earth Brown.
In other news, Blaupunkt released the BH61 Moksha earlier this year, featuring affordable ANC headphones with a 50-hour battery life. Baseus also introduced the GoPlay 1 Max gaming headset, which includes 40mm dual drivers, an adjustable microphone, and low-latency performance.
