DJI, an industry-leading camera stabilization tech provider, will unveil its newest products on April 9. While no official confirmation from DJI has yet been provided, indications indicate they may release both their RS 4 and RS 4 Pro camera gimbals at that time.
Insider Insights on DJI RS 4 Pro.
Before their official debuts, insiders such as @Quadro_News have provided extensive details and images regarding both devices, while @rquandt has shared various official images for these upcoming products.
DJI RS 4 and RS 4 Pro Specifications (Rumored).
According to leaks by @Quadro_News, the RS 4 series should offer various enhancements over their predecessors, including second-generation vertical scanning with smoother transitions; an extended tilt axis for increased creative possibilities; and DJI's latest fourth-generation stabilization algorithm.
The new gimbals should feature a payload capacity of 3 kg to ensure compatibility with an array of cameras and lenses, along with features like Bluetooth control and DJI Focus Pro support.
Increased Battery Life and Accessory Features
One stand-out feature of the DJI RS 4 series may be its remarkable battery longevity. At least one model from its lineup, likely the Pro variant, may offer up to 29 hours of runtime on one charge; an increase from 12 hours on its predecessor the DJI RS 3 Pro. This should provide sustained performance during extended shoots.
Images leaked have shown an assortment of accessories accompanying gimbals, including a carrying case and various USB cables to connect camera/device and mounts for increased versatility.
DJI anticipates pricing the RS 4 Combo package at EUR719 while the Pro Combo version may reach EUR869. After its official unveiling event on April 9th, both versions should be made available for sale to consumers.
