Chinese drone manufacturer DJI has introduced the Agras T50 and Agras T25 drones, specifically designed for agricultural purposes. These drones aim to offer precision services for various farming operations and are now available globally.
Features
The Agras T50 serves as the flagship model intended for extensive farming tasks. It boasts superior efficiency and stability, thanks to its coaxial dual-rotor design and 54-inch propellers. This model can handle payloads of 40kg or distribute payloads of 50kg. The DJI Agras T50 can cover approximately 50 acres per hour. It features a dual atomization spraying system with a flow rate of 16 liters per minute, equipped with two nozzles and adjustable spray droplets.
The T50 is enhanced with a transmission system that includes four antennas, offering a remote controller range of up to 2km. The range can be further extended using a DJI relay, making it suitable for more complex environments. Additional features include dual radar and dual binocular vision for obstacle avoidance and terrain following, as well as a 30Ah battery that supports a rapid 9-minute charging time.
The Agras T25 is crafted for smaller fields and is more lightweight. Despite its smaller and more portable build, it retains the advanced features of the T50. Its spraying/spreading payload capacity is 20kg/25kg, making it ideal for small farms or targeted operations.
SmartFarm App Integration
Both the Agras T50 and T25 come equipped with the updated SmartFarm app. This app provides robust functionalities for comprehensive aerial application management. The DJI SmartFarm app is designed to streamline daily drone operations, including plot management and crop protection. It features enhanced data visualization and a reporting dashboard, along with access to a variety of learning resources and after-sales support from DJI Academy.
DJI boasts a wide array of agricultural drones available in over 100 countries. The company claims that its DJI Agriculture drones have proven effective in crop protection and yield improvement for both smallholder and large-scale producers. Detailed availability and pricing information for the T50 and T25 drones can be obtained from local authorized DJI Agriculture dealers.
