Huawei Qingyun Series: Unveiling the Third ARM Laptop, the Qingyun L540
Huawei, a renowned technology company, has recently launched its latest addition to the Qingyun series of computers exclusively designed for enterprises and government agencies in China. Unlike their consumer-focused Mate-branded computers, Huawei tends to experiment more with these devices.
The Qingyun series made its debut in 2021 with the release of the Qingyun L410, which was Huawei’s first-ever ARM-powered laptop. This notebook was equipped with a Kirin 990 SoC. Later that year, Huawei introduced another ARM laptop, the Qingyun L420, featuring a Kirin 9006C chip.
Now, two years later, Huawei has unveiled its third ARM laptop, the Qingyun L540. This new notebook shares the same HiSilicon Kirin 9006C chip as its predecessor, the Qingyun L420.

Similar to its predecessors, the Huawei Qingyun L540 comes in a single 14-inch variant. It retains the sleek metal body design with a thickness of 15.9mm and a weight of 1.45kg.
The notebook features an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. It offers an impressive 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors.
Under the hood, the device houses the Kirin 9006C chipset. Although limited information is available about this silicon, it is known to be built on a 5nm process and has a CPU clocked at 3.13GHz.
