Razer to Unveil Upgraded Blade 16 and Blade 18 Laptops at CES 2024
Razer has announced that it will be showcasing the upgraded versions of its Blade 16 and Blade 18 laptops at the upcoming CES 2024. While the full unveiling is yet to take place, the brand has given us a glimpse of the key display features of these devices.
Razer Blade 16 Display Features
The Razer Blade 16 will be the world's first laptop to come with a 16-inch OLED screen and a 240Hz refresh rate. It boasts a display resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and an impressive 0.2ms response time. The OLED panel has been developed in collaboration with Samsung. Additionally, the Blade 16 will also be the world's first VESA Certified Clear MR 11000 laptop for motion blur. It will feature VESA Display HDR True Black 500 certification and a remarkable 1 million to 1 contrast ratio.
Razer Blade 18 Display Features
On the other hand, the Razer Blade 18 will be the first 18-inch laptop to offer a 4K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It will come with G-sync support and a 3ms response time, ensuring the elimination of screen tearing and low latency. Moreover, the display will have a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate color reproduction.
Design and Build
In terms of design, the Razer Blade 16 and Blade 18 will have a similar look to the 2023 models. Razer has revealed that these laptops will feature CNC aluminum chassis, providing durability and a premium feel. The devices will also have an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, allowing for a more immersive viewing experience.
