Xiaomi 15 Series Internal Testing Initiated
DCS provided details regarding Xiaomi 15 series phones in a recent Weibo post; while specific names of devices weren’t named by DCS, many believe that its information applies directly to Xiaomi 15.
Leaks indicate that Xiaomi 15 series will enter internal testing phase beginning this April and mass production phase should start around September of this year.
Rumored Features and Specifications
Rumors surrounding Xiaomi 15 series indicate its inclusion of an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and periscope telephoto camera, although details about final lineup configuration have yet to be finalised.
Reports indicate that Xiaomi 15 series devices could offer two screen size options. According to reports, an alleged leak suggests the standard model may feature a 6.36-inch flat OLED display while Pro may come equipped with an even bigger one (although exact sizes remain unstated), both supporting 1.5K and 2K resolution respectively.
Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro phones will likely feature high-density batteries with yet unknown capacities; and, according to leaks, both may feature custom OmniVision 50MP primary cameras.
