TP-Link has introduced the Tapo H110 Smart IR & IoT Hub, now purchasable in Japan. This innovative device acts as a universal infrared remote, enabling users to manage a variety of gadgets throughout their homes.
Device Compatibility
The Tapo H110 can control 21 different types of devices, which include TVs, lights, air conditioners, and fans, and it works with over 8,000 brands. Notably, this covers many older models, with the database receiving updates every three months. In addition to remote control functionality, the Matter-compatible hub lets you manage connected devices through third-party applications and voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Moreover, you can modify device settings using the TP-Link app, even when you’re not at home. The app also supports scheduling, geofencing, and can trigger scenes with smart sensors or cameras. Other notable features include a built-in 93 dB siren and offline control options in case of network issues.
