Olight has introduced a new flashlight named the Warrior Ultra. This device can produce 2,500 lumens and has a range of 1,050 feet, making it slightly less powerful than the bulkier Warrior X.
Compact Design
The design of the Warrior Ultra is based on a standard 21700 battery, which allows for a more compact head. The only part that sticks out is the removable belt clip. The flashlight measures 5.5 inches in length, has a thickness of about 1.1 inches, and weighs 6.3 ounces.
Brightness and Battery Life
The Warrior Ultra can maintain its impressive 2,500 lumens for approximately 2.5 minutes before switching to the “High” mode, which produces 800 lumens and lasts for an additional 162 minutes. There’s also a 250-lumen mode that provides 39 more minutes but can only be used when the battery is running low and cannot be activated manually.
Long-lasting Modes
In the faint Moonlight mode, the flashlight can last up to 55 days, as per Olight’s claims. Even though it emits just one lumen, this mode indicates that the battery has a low self-discharge rate.
The charging process for the flashlight uses a special magnetic MCC cable that comes with the Warrior Ultra. Unlike the Javelot Turbo 2, this flashlight does not feature a USB-C port, as Olight prefers to keep its magnetic charging method.
Accessory Compatibility
This new flashlight from Olight works with two remote switches (sROD-7 and sROD) as well as the E-WM25 mount, all of which must be purchased separately. The remote switches attach to the back of the flashlight instead of the battery or switch cap.
The Warrior Ultra will be available in three colors: gray, blue, and olive green, with a price tag of $139.99. Pre-orders are anticipated to begin on April 15 at Olight’s official online store. Additionally, early buyers will receive the new Sphere-C light orb as a special offer.
