To begin, images claiming to be of the console’s motherboard have appeared, showing a clear view of its Nvidia chipset. Following that, new Joy-Con designs have emerged, featuring a possible mouse control mode, along with a glimpse of Nintendo’s updated dock.

Genki has launched a teaser site for the ‘NS2’, which it refers to as the ‘next handheld’. For context, Genki offers a range of accessories for the current Nintendo Switch, including the well-liked Covert Dock Mini (curr. $39.99 on Amazon). Interestingly, the website includes a nearly 30-second video, which we have included below.
Dummy Unit and Design Insights
From what we can see, the device displayed seems to be a dummy model. Therefore, it’s unclear if it truly represents the final design of the console. Nevertheless, the design aligns with recent leaks, such as having two USB Type-C ports, a larger screen, and Joy-Con controllers that stick on magnetically. Additionally, it looks like the new Joy-Cons can only be removed by pressing a button located on the back.
Upcoming Accessories and Rumored Announcement
Moreover, Genki has showcased some upcoming Switch 2 accessories this week at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. The company not only shared the same video as seen below but also allowed Numerama to compare the dummy unit with an original Switch. Panasonic Z95B TV Launch: RGB OLED, Game Mode Extreme, Soundbar
Following the release of the LG OLED G5, the Panasonic Z95B emerges as one of the first smart TVs globally to incorporate the new OLED panel from LG Display. The smart TV operates on Amazon Fire TV. However, the Panasonic Z95B also allows wireless streaming from an iPhone or Mac through Apple AirPlay. If you prefer not to use a remote, voice commands can be used to control the device. A soundbar is installed at the bottom edge of the Z95B, which promises to create a wide and accurate soundstage, developed in partnership with Technics. BYD Challenges Tesla Roadster 2 with High-Speed Supercar Jump
As a way to ease the concerns of early Roadster 2 fans who have been waiting for their orders for years, Elon Musk hinted that Tesla’s next-generation supercar will be launched in 2025.
Exciting Developments for Tesla
When BYD introduced its first electric hypercar about a year ago, Musk quickly pointed out that the Tesla Roadster 2 would undergo a major redesign, developed in partnership with SpaceX. This new model is expected to feature an astonishing sub-second acceleration, transforming it into what Musk described as an "exciting flying machine with the SpaceX package."
SpaceX Technology Integration
This package could likely include cold air thrusters, as noted by the CEO of Rimac, an electric hypercar brand, with Musk confirming this idea back in 2019. "Will use SpaceX cold gas thruster system with ultra-high pressure air in a composite over-wrapped pressure vessel in place of the 2 rear seats," Musk had stated previously, which is considered a crucial element for the Roadster 2 to achieve its sub-second speed.
Challenges and Delays
Then, delays in the Cybertruck production arose, along with the urgent demand for more affordable vehicles like the Model 2 and Cybercab, pushing the Roadster 2 project down the priority list. The active suspension system from BYD comprises three unique sections – DiSus-C, DiSus-A, and DiSus-P – which manage variable damping, air suspension, and hydraulic functions, respectively. When working together, these systems can individually modify each wheel’s height, allowing the car to perform vertical jumps when necessary—just don’t mention this feature to law enforcement during a chase.

Dell’s New Laptop Naming Scheme Inspired by iPhone Design
Dell has officially discontinued its XPS, Inspiron, Latitude, and Precision laptop ranges. Now, they are all grouped under a naming system akin to that of Apple’s iPhone. For instance, the XPS line is now simply called Dell, the Latitude is rebranded as Dell Pro, and the Precision lineup has been changed to Dell Pro Max.
Similarities to Apple
This shift in naming style has drawn comparisons to Apple’s iPhone model names, and during the CES 2025 press conference, Dell faced backlash for what was termed as "imitation" of the tech giant from Cupertino. In response to these remarks, Dell has clarified that the intention behind the new naming structure is to simplify things for consumers.
Consumer Preferences
Jeff Clarke, Dell’s Chief Operating Officer, shared that customers generally favor names that "are memorable and easy to say." While this new naming approach could make it somewhat easier to understand the company’s offerings, there are still sub-categories: Base, Plus, and Premium. These subdivisions might actually complicate the idea of simplified naming, making it harder for customers to choose a laptop.
At the event, attendees voiced their concerns about the lack of originality in the new naming system, describing it as merely a "copy" of Apple’s branding for the iPhone. Dell’s leadership defended the rebranding, claiming it was guided by research involving "tens of thousands of customers."
Legal Standpoint
Additionally, the executives emphasized that no brand can claim exclusive rights to terms like "Pro" or "Max" for their products. Therefore, it seems that Dell isn’t facing any significant legal challenges over this. Miyoo Flip: Anbernic RG35XX SP Rival Returns to Stock
Miyoo has finally launched the Flip, which was first hinted at back in March 2024. At first, the device was only available on Amazon. Later on, Miyoo expanded its availability to AliExpress, keeping the same four color choices that you could find on Amazon.
High Demand and Limited Supply
Sadly, the interest in the Miyoo Flip is surpassing what they have in stock. This caused the first batch of devices to sell out very quickly. Fortunately, Miyoo has replenished their stock, and as it stands now, you can still buy the Flip on Amazon for $89.99. It’s worth mentioning that you might find it a little cheaper—around $10 less—on AliExpress compared to Amazon.
Ongoing Stock Issues
However, the Flip is currently sold out on AliExpress again. It’s likely that Miyoo is planning to have more restocks soon. Early reviews suggest that the Miyoo Flip can emulate various systems like the Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, and PlayStation Portable. While having two joysticks will certainly aid in emulating these consoles, the device’s SoC and 1 GB of RAM may limit its ability to run every game in those libraries.

CES 2025: Heybike Alpha Launches Ultimate User-Friendly Fat-Tire E-Bike
Heybike showed off its new Alpha at CES 2025, marking the launch of their first-generation Galaxy Perform S eDrive e-bike. This model uses an in-house system that enhances a Mivice X700 mid-drive motor and sensor, providing up to 105 newton-meters of torque. The goal is to make riding the bike feel "smooth and effortless."
Improved Performance
The company claims this setup minimizes the ‘latency’ between when a rider starts pedaling and when the Alpha kicks in with power. This is especially noticeable when compared to e-bikes that have traditional hub-mounted motors. The X700 is rated at 500 watts (W), whereas the Alpha’s predecessor, the Hero, had a more powerful 750W.
Heybike emphasizes that the Alpha will maximize energy efficiency, making it easier for riders to handle hills and sharp turns without much effort.
Comfort and Stability
Heybike promotes the Alpha as the peak of comfort in the e-biking world, although they have only mentioned a single type of suspension (front) in their marketing so far. The bike is designed for stability across various surfaces, equipped with 26 x 4-inch tires. It also focuses on safety and power, featuring a UL2849-certified 680Wh battery and hydraulic disc brakes.
Furthermore, the new e-bike comes with a Shimano Altus derailleur, differing from many older models that typically have a 7-speed option. It also includes a full-color Smart LCD display located in the center of the handlebars.
Stylish Options
The Alpha will be available in two distinct "styles": one with a Pearl White step-through frame and another featuring a Galaxy Black step-over design. Unfortunately, there’s no option to interchange the colors.
Both styles come standard with front and rear fenders and a rear rack, and they can carry a maximum weight of 400lb (approximately 181 kilograms). However, neither version includes more advanced features like a carbon belt or enhanced security options.
Even so, Heybike hasn’t revealed the pricing and availability for the Alpha yet. They are currently promoting early-bird deals, allowing customers to pay a $50 deposit, which secures a $150 discount once the bike is available for purchase.

DJI Flip Promo Images and Specs Leaked Ahead of Release
The upcoming compact drone from DJI seems to be nearing its launch. While the company hasn’t made any official announcements, several leakers have shared promotional images ahead of the eagerly awaited drone.
Key Features of the Flip
As earlier speculated, DJI is set to kick off this year with the Flip, which @Quadro_News claims will feature a 48 MP camera with a 1/1.3-inch optical format, an 82.1° field of view, and a 4x digital zoom. Additionally, this camera is expected to support 4K video recording along with DNG and RAW photo formats.
Performance and Specifications
Moreover, DJI is promoting the Flip as capable of flying for up to 31 minutes on a single charge, or 28 minutes when hovering, with a maximum speed of 16 m/s and a range of 14 km.
