Two new Casio G-Shock Baby-G watches have recently been introduced in Japan: the BGA-2510SP-7AJR and the BGR-3003SP-7JR. These watches are part of the Spring Package 2025 collection and come with a special storage pouch.
Features of the Spring Package Models
The Baby-G models in the Spring Package are recognized as Radio Solar watches. They feature Tough Solar charging and are radio-controlled, using Multiband 6 across North America, Europe, Japan, and China. Similar features include an LED backlight for easy reading in dim light, a power-saving mode, and notifications for low battery levels.
Specifications of BGA-2510SP-7AJR
The BGA-2510SP-7AJR is a hybrid version that includes a hands shift function, which allows users to view the smaller digital displays. It sports a white resin case and strap, complemented by a light blue dial. This model is water-resistant up to 10 ATM and provides support for 48 world time zones. Additional features include a stopwatch accurate to 1/100th of a second, a countdown timer for 100 minutes, and five daily alarms. The estimated battery life is seven months during regular use or up to 18 months in power-saving mode.
Overview of BGR-3003SP-7JR
On the other hand, the BGR-3003SP-7JR is a digital watch that shares the same white resin casing and strap, but it comes with a blue aluminum bezel. It offers improved water resistance at 20 ATM and allows users to select from five world time zones. This model also includes a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, and five alarms. Battery life is enhanced in this version, providing an estimated 11 months of typical use or 22 months in power-saving mode.
You can currently purchase the Casio G-Shock Baby-G BGA-2510SP-7AJR for ¥24,200 (~$160) and the BGR-3003SP-7JR for ¥22,000 (~$145) in Japan. It remains uncertain when or if these watches will become available in other regions such as North America or Europe. Older models like the Casio BGR-3003U-7AJF can be found through importers on Amazon US for around $129.99.
