Today, the company announced that their first clamshell design will come with dual OLED screens, aiming to outdo the Ayaneo Pocket DS. The dimensions of the AYN Thor are 150 x 94 x 25.6 mm, and it weighs around 380 g. This means the AYN Thor is a bit bigger than the Retroid Pocket Flip 2, which measures 140.5 x 89.5 x 24.4 mm and weighs about 306 g—almost 20% lighter. In contrast, the Ayaneo Pocket DS is on the heavier side, with dimensions of 179.8 x 101.8 x 25 mm and a weight of 540 g.
Battery and Performance
With a larger body, AYN can fit in a battery that’s 20% bigger than the Pocket Flip 2’s 5,000 mAh.
