The ASUS Vivobook S 15 featuring the Snapdragon X Elite processor has been introduced, marking the brand's debut in the Copilot+ PC category. This laptop comes equipped with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, offering a suite of advanced technologies and AI capabilities.
Display and Design
The device boasts a 15.6-inch ASUS Lumina OLED display with a 2.8K resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. As a Copilot+ PC, it promises smooth streaming and efficient multitasking.
Encased in a silver chassis, the new Vivobook S 15 is lighter and slimmer compared to its predecessors, weighing approximately 1.42kg and measuring 14.7mm in height. It features an 89% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The OLED display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is calibrated with Delta E < 1. Additionally, it includes one-zone RGB keyboard lighting and a 70Wh battery that can last up to 18 hours.
Connectivity and Performance
The ASUS Vivobook S 15 is well-equipped with various ports: two USB 4.0 ports, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an audio jack. It also features a microSD card slot and delivers sound through a Harman Kardon audio system.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, the laptop offers top-tier performance. The FastConnect 7800 system facilitates seamless connectivity via Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi 7, supporting speeds up to 5.8Gbps. The processor includes a Hexagon NPU with 45 TOPS for rapid on-device AI processing. The laptop supports Live Captions and sketch-to-art conversions, along with standard Windows AI features. It also houses the AiSense IR camera for enhanced presence detection. Exclusive AI applications like StoryCube are also available on this model.

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 is currently available for pre-order through select retailers. However, pricing details have not yet been disclosed. Shipping is expected to begin by June 2024.
