NordVPN and ASUS have collaborated to incorporate the renowned VPN service directly into ASUS networking devices, simplifying the process of securing an entire home network. Typically, VPNs must be installed on each device individually. However, with this new integration, users only need a router equipped with NordVPN functionality, removing the necessity for separate software on each gadget. This enhancement also extends protection to devices that usually cannot support VPN software.
Easy Setup
Users can activate the VPN by accessing their router’s self-service page. The first two routers to feature this integration are the tri-mode connectivity ASUS RT-AX57 Go and the GT-AX11000 Pro, a model specifically tailored for gamers. The setup process for the integrated NordVPN service is straightforward – simply navigate to the router’s self-service page. “Our objective is to promote a more secure internet,” stated Vykintas Maknickas, Head of Product Strategy at NordVPN. “By facilitating easy VPN service setup on routers, we can safeguard entire networks for our users.”
Enthusiastic Collaboration
ASUS shares similar enthusiasm about the partnership. Tenlong Deng, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Networking and Wireless Devices Business Unit at ASUS, expressed his excitement: “We’re excited to collaborate with NordVPN and integrate their service into our devices. The built-in VPN configuration options provide users with a flexible and secure way to browse the internet with total privacy.”
