A refreshed version of UGREEN’s Nexode Pro 100W USB-C Charger has quietly appeared on the German market. The new adapter is positioned as a successor to the five-port 100W smart display charger that debuted in the United States in February and reached Europe in April. While it retains much of the same design language, this latest model introduces two notable hardware revisions without changing the official price.

Fewer Ports and a Smaller Footprint

The most visible change is a reduction in the port count. Where its predecessor offered five ports, the new model features four: three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. Dropping one USB-C output has allowed for a more compact overall build, with dimensions now measuring 63 x 63 x 36 mm, compared to the original’s 76 x 76 x 36 mm. Both generations carry a list price of €59.99 on Amazon Germany, although the older five-port version is currently discounted to €49.98.

Power Distribution Across Four Devices

Despite the reduced port total, the charger can still handle up to four devices simultaneously. When used individually, the USB-C1 and USB-C2 ports each supply up to 100 W. Power is automatically rebalanced as more devices are connected. With all four ports occupied, the adapter maintains a 65 W USB-C output—sufficient for many laptops—alongside a separate 20 W feed and two 7.5 W slots for smaller accessories. The lone USB-A port delivers a maximum of 22.5 W.

Smart Display and Charging Standards

Like the original model, the integrated display provides real-time charging data, including the active protocol, wattage, and internal temperature. Support spans multiple fast-charging standards such as PPS and USB PD 3.0, enabling quick top-ups for a broad range of hardware, from iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices to MacBooks and other USB-C notebooks.
