At a recent product showcase, OneXPlayer disclosed detailed specifications for its upcoming X2 and X2 Mini gaming handhelds, building on an initial preview from July 2026. Both devices are powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, positioning them as direct competitors to systems running the Ryzen Z2 Extreme, such as the ROG Ally X and Legion Go 2.

Battery and Efficiency Gains

The larger OneXPlayer X2 retains the same 65 Wh battery capacity found in its predecessor. While the cell size remains unchanged, the transition to Intel’s new Panther Lake chipset architecture is expected to deliver measurable efficiency improvements, potentially extending real-world runtimes during gameplay.

X2 Display and Memory Configuration

Featuring a convertible tablet design, the X2 is built around a 10.95-inch display with a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The screen specifications carry over from the previous generation, but OneXPlayer has confirmed a memory upgrade path, offering the device with up to 48 GB of RAM.

X2 Mini Display and Storage

Moving to the more compact model, the OneXPlayer X2 Mini is equipped with an 8.8-inch OLED panel running at 1920 x 1200 pixels. These display characteristics align with the recently launched OneXPlayer 3, strongly suggesting a matching 144 Hz refresh rate, while the company has explicitly confirmed variable refresh rate (VRR) support.

The X2 Mini will be configurable with up to 32 GB of RAM. Both handhelds accommodate an M.2 2280 SSD, including a 2 TB Samsung SSD 9100 Pro option, though only the X2 Mini appears to offer a secondary mini SSD slot. Full launch timing and official pricing were not disclosed and are expected to be announced in the near future.
