Lenovo has revealed new details about its upcoming Legion C700 gaming handheld ahead of its scheduled August 2026 launch in China. The company is positioning the device as a sleek, cloud-focused portable, with recent teasers confirming a slim chassis and lightweight construction.

The Legion C700 will feature a 7.82-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering the fluid responsiveness sought by gamers. Lenovo has also equipped the handheld with TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) thumbsticks, a technology designed to eliminate stick drift concerns over prolonged use.
Slim Design and Weight Comparison
New promotional material confirms the device measures just 14.9mm in thickness. By comparison, the Lenovo Legion Go S comes in at 22.6mm, while the ASUS ROG Ally X measures 24.7mm. The aggressive slimming down aligns with Lenovo’s cloud-gaming marketing angle, suggesting internal hardware is tailored for streaming rather than maximum local processing power.
Lenovo states the Legion C700 tips the scales at approximately 556 grams. This significantly undercuts the Legion Go S (around 730 grams) and the ROG Ally X (about 678 grams), making it one of the lighter full-featured handhelds available.
Software and Availability Outlook
Other specifications remain undisclosed, though the device may run on Android. Even with a mobile OS, capable local silicon could still handle PC game streaming without difficulty.
