AOC Unveils 27-Inch 2K 180Hz Gaming Monitor with Fast IPS Panel

AOC has rolled out a fresh gaming monitor, model Q27G41E, in the Chinese market. It is priced at 849 yuan ($117) and can be found listed on JD.com. Let's dive into some of its main specifications.

Specifications of AOC Q27G41E Monitor

The Q27G41E boasts a 27-inch Fast IPS display with a native resolution of 2560×1440 (2K) along with an ultra-smooth refresh rate of 180Hz. With a rapid 1ms (GTG) response time, this monitor is perfect for high-speed gaming, reducing motion blur and ghosting effects effectively.

This monitor also supports HDR10, allowing for high dynamic range imaging that enhances detail in bright and dark scenes. It features Adaptive Sync technology, which aims to remove screen tearing and stuttering, providing a fluid gaming experience. Additionally, it includes MBR Sync, a unique frame-syncing tech that sharpens images by cutting down on motion blur and ghosting while keeping brightness consistent.

Color and Brightness Features

With a color gamut coverage of 100% sRGB and professional-level accuracy (Delta E<2), this monitor ensures vibrant and precise colors. It supports 8-bit color depth and 93% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, along with a static contrast ratio of 1000:1. The peak brightness reaches 300 nits, and it has low blue light emission for eye comfort, in addition to flicker-free DC dimming. There are also various preset modes such as multimedia, reading, and office to accommodate different usage needs.

The G41 monitor includes Dark Boost technology that improves visibility in both dark and bright scenes. It comes with customizable G-MENU software that allows users to adjust brightness, color, and gaming-specific settings like dynamic crosshairs and sniper-target zoom.

Connectivity and Design

In terms of connectivity, the monitor is equipped with HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and an audio-out port. It has a sturdy design with VESA wall-mount compatibility (100mm x 100mm) and an adjustable tilt angle ranging from -5° to 23°. The stand weighs 3.53 kg, while the panel alone weighs 3.14 kg.

Just earlier this week, AOC launched a new 26.5″ 2K QD-OLED gaming monitor that features a remarkable 480Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and a super-fast 0.03ms GTG response time. Moreover, HKC has recently unveiled a new 27″ dual-mode gaming monitor, which provides 4K resolution at a 160Hz refresh rate or 1080P resolution with a 320Hz refresh rate.
